Majority of parts in a pre-populated Mouser Electronics project.
For some inexpensive parts I typically round up the Mouser Order to a multiple of 5. You can use the extra parts in a future project or copy and edit the project and reduce the amounts to exact quantities. The rounding adds a few dollars to the total order price.
!! NOTICE !!
Cart contains all electronic components except metal film 2K Ohm 1/4W +/-2% T.C. +3300 PPM tempco, SSM2210P, and AD633JNZ.
You can copy the project and edit it as desired to add or remove components.
There are some extra components here and there and the list assumes you will
use SPDT toggles for both SPDT and SPST toggles.
I am not maintaining the pre-filled cart because I would be changing it every day due to items going in and out of stock at Mouser. The prefilled cart will at least give some guidance on the correct parts to buy.
Sometimes Mouser lists parts as back-ordered.
After you click the link look over the project's part list
and delete the parts from the cart that will not ship
immediately so your order is not in limbo for months.
You will have to find the missing parts elsewhere or call
Mouser and ask for subs (1-800-346-6873).
Please read the list carefully before you click "Order Project". | Sound Lab ULTIMATE EXPANDER Mouser Electronics Pre-Filled Cart |

This part has become pretty scarce but here are several alternate solutions:
You can buy discrete matched NPN pairs from me here. You can match your own transistors by hand The unit will work with two plain old unmatched 2N3904 NPN transistors but the 1V/Octave tracking of the VCOs will be greatly diminished. The unit will work perfectly with three pairs of hand matched 2N3904 or 2N2222 NPN transistors. |
Here is some more information about transistor matching. |

Metal film 2K Ohm 1/4W +/-2% T.C. +3300 PPM tempco. If using 2K carbon or metal film VCO temp drift increases. |
This part can be difficult to find but I sell them.
