Panel Templates For Several MFOS Modules

What's this? I used to sell a universal module panel but it became economically inadvisable to continue
(they cost too much to have made). I no longer sell the Universal Front Panel but the specs for it and the templates I had designed
for them are here for your use. The actual panel dimensions are near the bottom of the page
if you have equipment to make them yourself. You can print these out, laminate them, and then align them on the panel and cut out the appropriate holes.
Read all of the directions ahead of time so you don't have to smack your forhead and say "darn I wish I would have read
all of the instructions ahead of time!" Good building...
PLEASE NOTE...
Some panel template/wiring diagrams shown have holes that are not on the Universal Front Panel
grid. They must be drilled as shown in the panel template. Diagrams with extra holes have an alert banner.

The PDFs on the site are vector based and "should" print in the correct size for the plates.
I do this when making front panels using the universal panels.
- Print the label on the paper color of your choice with a laser printer.
- Laminate the paper you printed the panel on with a laminating machine.
(Office Depot type heat laminator and 3 mil heat applied laminating material).
- Cut it out (just the rectangle not the holes yet).
- Spray the front side of the aluminum panel and the back of the laminated printout with Scotch brand spray adhesive
(do this over paper and be careful of the overspray... sticky stuff).
Note: You can also use contact cement instead of spray glue.
- Very "carefully" apply the laminated label to the metal lining up the laminated label
rectangle to the aluminim panel rectangle. The holes should be aligned correctly if your printer
printed at the correct size.
- Burnish the label by putting a plain piece of plain paper over the panel and rubbing it with another piece
of crumpled up piece of paper to make sure it adheres nicely.
- Let it dry for the time recommended on the Scotch spray glue label (or contact cement label).
- Cut out the holes in the layout with a sharp exacto knife and voila a nicely labeled panel.
If you make a mistake you can scrape the label off and clean the aluminum with laquer thinner (to get the spray glue off) and then try again.
