Multi-Output Power Supply

This is the general solution for a multi-output power supply. You can use whichever of the LM78XX or LM79XX regulators you need as long as your transformer provides high enough voltage. Remember to increase the voltage ratings of all caps accordingly. Use 35V caps for the 25uF caps on the negative regulators. Also this design assumes you will be putting 10 or 15 uF bypass caps on your module boards. The diodes protect against shorts on the input of the regulators and the caps are for when the regulators are a few inches from the filter caps. I recommend their use regardless. This information is pretty much straight off National Semiconductor's data sheets.
